The Loving Liner was born out of necessity: I went looking for a non-plastic shower liner and found... nothing. At the time, I was in the middle of a personal health journey, managing Hashimoto’s and PCOS, and slowly detoxing my home one mindful swap at a time. From laundry detergent to glass food storage, I became deeply intentional about what touched my body and filled my space.

When I learned how heat releases hormone-disrupting chemicals from plastics, I realized that my plastic liner was a daily exposure I hadn’t considered.

I made my first prototype because I couldn't find anything on the market that would be safe from the heat and steam in my shower. The fiber content always seemed to have PEVA or PVC, both of which release VOCs and microplastics, especially when they come into contact with heat and steam .

I approached this from the standpoint of creating something non-toxic, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is in the shower. The fabric is truly beautiful and became an instant upgrade to my shower experience. My background is in Interior Design with over a decade of experience creating spaces for some of the world’s most iconic luxury properties, including The St. Regis, The Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, and Fairmont. I laughed to myself because, even though The Loving Liner is primarily a non-toxic product, the end result ended up feeling more like a high-end upgrade, worthy of a 5 star luxury hotel.

I launched The Loving Liner because I want to create something that protects both our bodies and the planet. If I was searching for something safer for my home, I knew others must be, too. To me, The Loving Liner is a quiet act of love, for your family, your air, and the shared planet we call home.
